I am excited to invite you to my upcoming class called Souldren.

I passionately believe that if we focus on the light within our children and within each other and the world we can transform our world and that is what this next generation is being called to do. But this shift must first begin with parents, grandparents and teachers, because when we gain a deeper perspective of who we are, we can teach that to our children, beginning at an early age through example and fun activities.

part 1 - birth to age 2

This course consists of two parts

The metaphysical information on children and their soul development, primarily from the books by: Alice Bailey, Lucille Cedercrans, Rudolf Steiner and others. Also, mainstream educators, like Montessori and Piaget. These classes will be different from typical child development classes since the goal of this class is much more than personality and cognitive development. We teach from the perspective that children are developing souls that manifest through those aspects of themselves but eventually not limited by them. Since, the goals and characteristics of the personality are often quite different than those of the soul, gaining a deeper understanding of this, will help us reflect on the values that we model and encourage in our children and students. Some of the many topics that will be summarized are: the soul, birth, the human energy field, cosmology, karma, development of physical/etheric, emotional, mental, personality bodies, rays and much more.
Children activities as well as seasonal activities, that support the goals of this class. Children particularly at this young age learn through hands-on experiences.

We will begin by studying the birth, but unlike the traditional medical model that begins with the birth of the fetus, we will begin our discussion with the birth of the soul, which is from a much more expansive perspective.

We will also begin with Light, since that is the essence of our children as well as ourselves and discuss how that Light enters its form in developmental stages.

The overarching purpose of this class therefore, is to deepen our understanding of children as developing souls so that we can more consciously encourage the unfoldment of their soul within and evolve into the Light that they were born to be and add that light to this world that so desperately needs it right now. This reflects our children's full potential.

This course brings together my two life-long passions, children and esoteric studies as well as my college training and teaching experience.

I am co-teaching with a close friend that coordinated Sunday School activities for her church for many years. She has a lot of fun ideas for you to share with your children, grandchildren and/or students.

Sessions: Four two-hour evening classes-over four weeks.
